OUR POWER PLANT CLUSTER: ONE OF THE WORST!-

4 power plants within 13 miles of each other is one of the worst clusters of plants in the world as far as we know. The 5th proposed power plant withdrew – we think it was in part to all of the opposition – from our work and the work of others. We want to make sure we have NO NEW POWER PLANTS in Prince George’s County and ideally anywhere in Maryland. We don’t want to see any expansion at any of the current plants and we look forward to seeing reductions. These plants should be replaced eventually with renewable energy.
